Granola

3T coconut oil
3T honey
1t cinnamon
1/2t salt
1/4t nutmeg
2c rolled oats
1/2c slivered almonds
1/4c craisins
1/4c golden raisins

1. In large skillet, heat coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg over medium-low heat for 1min.
2. Raise heat to medium. Add oats, almonds, craisins, and raisins.  Stir to coat and toast.
3. Remove from heat.  When cool, store in an airtight container.



This skillet granola recipe was present during a 4-H meeting.  It is by KSU and the Extension office.
1T oil
1/2c splenda
1/2c water
1t cinnamon

4c old fashioned rolled oats
1c walnut pieces
1c raisins

In large skillet, stir together first 4 ingredients on medium heat.

When bubbly, add rolled oats and nuts.

Stir mixture and cook until brown stirring occasionally.

Add raisins

Cool and store in an air tight container
